Anna Maria Island Fishing Charters are perfectly located for inshore fishing in a number of different bodies of water including Tampa Bay to the north and Sarasota Bay to the south as well as the Gulf of Mexico to the west. We also have a few tributaries like the Manatee River that add to the fun, you’ll find that what we call inshore/nearshore trips is a little different than what you find elsewhere.
We use a 24’ Bay Stealth boat on our inshore/nearshore trips and when the weather cooperates we make our way out into the Gulf of Mexico in search of red snapper, gag grouper, amberjack, and triggerfish. If staying in the calm waters surrounding Anna Maria Island is more your thing we have no problem hitting the flats and residential docks for redfish, speckled trout, and flounder. We also catch a decent amount of Spanish mackerel and mangroves in our inland waters.
